Let me preface this by saying I heard it from a 3rd party and therefore I do not know how true it may be but...

Does anyone know who the 2 or 3 players are who quit the team following Monday's loss to Texas Tech because coach Bennett kept them in the Mustang locker room for over two hours chewing their a**es out because of their poor performance against the Red Raiders?

Any truth to this?

Edit: I hope it isn't true because it would be unfair. I thought the coaches quit at halftime

If anyone decided to quit based on a poor performance and [deleted] chewing they may have received for their performance, then we don't have many character guys on this squad.

And frankly, don't let the door hit you on the way out. I will not tolerate any player who would quit under the aforementioned circumstances. That is gutlless.

That goes for the QB all the way down to the fourth string punter.
