SMU 1982 Team Reunion

Just a heads up the on-field recognition to the 1982 team will be this Saturday during halftime at the game. No specifics on who will be in attendance, but Mr. Dickerson will be, Mr. James will not as he has in-studio obligations that day. Official release will follow.

Wonder what kind of "incentive" SMU had to give Eric so that he would come back to campus?

A few years ago when Eric Dickerson was back for some half time show I ran into him in the Spirit Shop and politely asked if I could get a quick picture of him with a friend's 12 year old boy that idolized him. That boy now plays for Southlake and still has that picture with Dickerson on his bedroom wall. Dickerson seemed really bothered by the request but agreed. I know they get asked all the time, but when you come back to an event honoring you at your alma mater and you know you will be surrounded by SMU fans should you not expect it and just know that it is fans that made you wealthy and famous?

I invite the whole 82 team to come to the BUS STOP and have a good time. If I do not have the beverage that makes you happy the Special Delivery spot will. Mustangs need to stick togehter.
