Reform: Will Coaches Get More Careful on who they Recruit?

At the SEC Meeting, Todd Turner, the AD at Vanderbilt, captured the attention of some of his peers by asking their readiness to meet new "academnic performance and progress" standards, etc. This issue means quality schools may gain greater leverage in gaining or holding on to scholarships. Funk-out U.'s will be at a disadvantage. Partial qualifiers and poor grades/test scores increase the risks of lossing scholarship starting in 2005.
