great game. very enjoyable. back and forth, a lot of screaming and yelling but also a lot of cheering.
Some thoughts:
1) learn to tackle
2) Pass defense is weak, minus those picks, and they need a ton of work.
3) Offense is almost there and hopefully they are flawless next week
4) UNT and SMU made some great catches in coverage. A lot of those were dumb luck but still some nice catches.
5) loved the big hits.
6) good to see pressure on the QB
7) tackle
8) Willis looked sharp and I enjoyed the run game
9) tackle

Hopefully they can work on the fundamentals in practice and gear up for ASU.

Despite the W, i am still not a firm believer in a bowl caliber team. fix that D Phil!

Congratulations. 1-1 beats 0-2. Still not a sunshiner, however.

our defense does not look like where it needs to be to go to a bowl game. we need help on d. allowing 601 passing yards to north texas? we have issues

Apparently not a heavily recruited kid, and thought about quitting a couple of times, according to the sideline report on the Ticket.

he was screwed by the SMU coaching staff... they moved him to every position on the field... never gave him a chance to develop as a player... and he was by far one of the most athletic players we've had in a long time. I don't think it's sad at all.. i think how SMU treated him was sad. and on that note I know why his brother didn't come to SMU
