This has been bothering me all evening... yesterday, around 2pm (or was it 4, i'm sick so have been in and out of bed), the GAK was talking about the upcoming SLC-Miami game at Ford, and he resoundingly claimed that Southlake HS could beat SMU. When the co-host tried to interrupt and say he was an idiot, he resoundingly re-proclaimed and re-affirmed his point.

Anyone else catch that? any thoughts?

Randy Galloway has become a has-been in this industry. His show is apparently getting slaughtered in the ratings, his columns are no longer interesting, and he is living off his name and reputation.

I read his column for TCU-Texas and it was horribly written. English teachers should have called and ripped him. Hey, Randy mix in a little subject-verb agreement.

BTW, wasn't there somebody who said that lard [deleted] jennifer floyd said UNT was going to beat us. Someone should call her on that and tell her stop stealing the Star-Telegram's money with the garbage she writes.

There are people at that paper who think she sucks anyway!!

I have quit listening to ESPN radio in the morning do to the fact that they gave Jen Engel her own show. She is an absolute idiot.

90% of what Galloway says is to get a reaction out of Brian and whoever else is on the show. I seriously doubt that he thinks SLC can beat SMU.

He's an idiot. The best time to hear a relevant and thoughtful Galloway is when he's being spoofed on The Ticket.

There should be no way to know that, since there's no excuse to listen to the ticket except when SMU is playing a road game. Other than that, the station's broadcast license should be revoked.

Alas, there are many in broadcasting who make their living because of their names and reputations (see John Madden, who has been irrelevant for at least a couple of decades). Jennifer Floyd Engel isn't good, but she's not completely useless. Galloway talks loud, because he likes to hear himself talk, but when he gets Coach Bennett on the radio - and he has - he's completely respectful. Sucks up a little, even.

No High School team in the country could win against SMU. To suggest otherwise is as stupid as saying a top D1 team could even hold a candle to a sub-par NFL team.
