ASU Seems Pretty Confident

Postby Stallion » Wed Sep 12, 2007 3:35 pm

on www.Tribalgrounds.com they have a score prediction thread and its unanimous(except for one SMU fan) that they all predict a victory for ASU. I didn't count the 5 pages of predictions but it might be 60-0 in favor of ASU. They are even bigger homers than SMU fans. Disgusting.

Granted, I always pick my team to win even at Texas (and I was close), so I'm one of the biggest homers over there. But, it is surprising that everyone is picking ASU after the shellacking we took last year.

I never thought I would see Stallion complaining about the homers of an opposing team.

And we care what they think, why?

I will say that their "separated at birth" look a likes are hilarious. First time I have look at the opposition's site to see theirs and it is well worth the trip.

Weren't they doing the exact same thing last year before we handed them their butts?

I'm glad to see Ark. State is so high on themselves. Hopefully they are over confident. This should make our guys realize they need to work hard for 60 minutes to have a chance to win.

This win is key if they are serious about going to a bowl this year.

You did not watch our secondary play the last 2 games. A little advice-throw every down.

I will say that ponyfans.com is a far superior site to ASU's tribalgrounds.com Keep up the good work, ponyfans.com gods.

"As for the game, I think our defense will pick apart the SMU offense and we'll have at least one defensive score and several picks. The offense might come out a little flat after last week, but we'll get it together and win big.

The stAte's University 38, SMU 17"

Where can I get some of that you're smoking?

If there's an SMU fan, presumably picking the Ponies to win, how can the tally be 60 to ZERO?
