Speaking of regional games...
Posted: Sun Jun 08, 2003 6:22 pmDoes the Mustang Club, or SMU Athletic Dept organize "day trip" bus trips to any of our away games? I seem to recall the TCU basketball game a few years ago was a pretty successful trip.
If we are going to build interest in this program, it would seem we should be offering bus trips to Baylor & La Tech this year, at the very least. Maybe even Tulsa? Nothing like hours on a bus getting toasted with a bunch of fellow Mustang fans. Why not advertise "Greek" buses, M-Club buses, etc...to see what kind of interest might be generated? On the La Tech trip, are the horses running? One bus could even hit the track after the game, if the timing is right. Or, has this been tried before and failed to garner any support?
