Two-way Lowery - I'm with him on it, vis-a-vis last game. But it doesn't give me warm-fuzzies.
More RB carries - I'm also with him on not caring who produces yards and pts...but COME ONE MAN! If they are showing 7 or less in the box, has HE forgotten basic football (gasp!)?
Morestead - His family is English? That's great! Reminds me of the kicker on the Replacments...I wonder if he'd do that little dance out there if he nailed a 50-60 yard FG?

I want to see DeMyron get the ball more in situations that allow him to go north-south. Feel like we have a serious talent in D-Mart that we aren't utilizing to its upmost.

That is the most racist comment I've ever read. Very offensive.

There's just a bit of precedent for one player to play several positions at SMU.

Against Memphis Sate in 1976, Jim "Hacksaw" Duggan played offense (Off. tackle), defense (Def. tackle) and offense (fullback).
Bennett is only asking Lowery to play a mere two positions in one game.

How are the RBs supposed to get hot when they only get 2 carries per quarter?

Was he carrying a 2x4?

Why don't we move the All American Hero to DB instead. I've heard it all now. He wastes a year of development when he could have redshirted to watch the All American Hero catch 8 yard passes. He wastes an entire year switching Lowery to be DB. Lowery is a dud at DB getting beat all year long. Then they finally put him where he should have been all along-has a career day and Bennett wants to play him at CB again. Look if he couldn't pick it up practicing 100% of the time at CB how he going to magically make it happen practicing 10 plays per practice. Keep him at WR and move one of your "superstar" recruits to corner. This is one of the stupidest ideas coming out of the coaching staff in a very long time.

Maybe a stupid idea, but wouldn't you agree that the genesis of the stupid idea isn't necessarily the ineptitude of the coaching, but rather the SMU football model in general?

I think it's the head coach's act that has gotten tiresome. Moreso than PonySnob's.
