Given the current situation, and the fact that we will likely be 1-3, do you fire PB now or let him be a lame duck for the rest of the season ?

I think if you are looking to hire someone who is not currently coaching (like Terry Bowden, Gary Barnett, etc. if they would even come) you do it now and let the new guy generate some excitement for recruiting.

By the way, sat near family of Madison HS (which is again in state top 10) running back who is good enough to go to Arkansas and had offers from everywhere and they said tried to contact SMU and were told we looked to Dallas area kids first. Really think we need to look at anyone who can play no matter where they are from, that's if they will even look at us.

PB only wants to select from those who attend his camps. They get to know the players, see what they can do.

Of course, if they are the 190 lb, 5'10" DE's, so be it. It is what it is. We'll let Vick grow 'em for 3 years. Hey, Justin Rogers types are everywhere.
