"Willis...Tuck the Ball!"

Despite is talents as QB, and aside from Bennett's failures as a coach, Justin Willis' arrogance and immaturity on the field kept what could have been a close, yet respectable loss to ASU tonight, a blowout! Though his speed and quickness is an encouragement to SMU fans, his inability to secure the ball by tucking it while scrambling is incredibly frustrating! With a freshman defense at the line, SMU's offense cannot afford to have a QB who is so sure of his palm strength that he defies what many would consider a fundamental element of the QB position and ignores the screams of his coach and teammates to, "Tuck the Ball, Willis!"

That's right....
It was that lookout who didn't see the ice, not Captain EJ Smith!

This is not just Willis's problem. A number of our players suffer from this and that points to a lack of fundamentals in practice. How much time do we spend working on unusual formations that usually confuse us more than the opponent, when we could be working on ball carriage with our players?

That's just crazy talk! You're going too far outside our gameplan.

Right Stealth, my bad.
I think I saw Burns holding Henry Winkler's (from Water Boy) "FB for Dummies" playbook.
