Let me point out that a 7 figure salaary for the Athletic department would be an increase of about 3% for the current budget. Figure in the the fact that if you are going to actually sell more tickets and it would require another 3000 season tickets sold for every $500K in coaches salary to cover this extra expense. This is not a huge investment for an athletic department that spends over $30million a year. More than some BCS schools do.

For the first few years it will not come from ticket sales, it needs to come from the Mustang Club. I have done my part, now it is time for the rest of you to step up.
