And I don't want to hear about how the players should be absolved from criticism because they are on scholarship. That's a privilege not a right.
They have no one to blame but themselves for this sorry excuse of football they're putting out there!
Your rants are getting so tiresome. The players are trying their best and are not giving up. It just so happens that their best isn't very good right now. What are you saying the players should do? Play harder? Morph themselves into USC's players? Your posts serve no purpose.
I think he edited his comments to be a little more diplomatic. Stallion had it right...criticize the performance, not the players.
But since you opened it up, are the players trying their best? And my question isn't a rhetorical jab; I'm really asking if they are trying their best. If you know (b/c are a player or parent), then I'll accept that. But if you ask me whether they should play harder, I'll say yes on general principle. As for Sarge's posts, he has his moments, but nothing he has said is something that one or more of us hasn't thought about in the last three weeks. Just because he's out past the buoys doesn't mean he isn't right. Stallion tends to demonstrate that rather frequently.
