DMN: Status Report for TCU Game

Senior cornerback Jonathan Lindley (patella tendon injury) will miss Saturday's game against TCU. Backup Brandon Jones, who played mostly special teams last week at Arkansas State, will fill in.
Despite the injury, which Lindley suffered in the weight room, coach Phil Bennett said he expects to see defensive improvement against the Horned Frogs.
SMU, which ranks 117th in Division I in total defense, will be helped by the return of linebacker Wilton McCray (hamstring). Defensive tackle Charlie Berry (stinger) is also expected to be full strength. Defensive end Patrick Handy (stinger) is questionable.
