New Orleans police arrested Tulane University football player Ray Boudreaux Friday morning for a stabbing on Bourbon Street last weekend that left five people wounded, one who remains in critical condition at University Hospital.
Boudreaux, 22, was arrested at his home in Metairie by Eighth District detectives, according to a news release. An NOPD spokesman confirmed that Boudreaux is a Tulane student. The birthday of the man booked matches the birthdate of listed for Green Wave running back in the Tulane football media guide.
The stabbing took place just before 6 a.m. on Sunday, when two groups of people were ejected for fighting from the Utopia nightclub, said Sgt. Joe Narcisse, the New Orleans Police Department spokesman.
After the fight spilled out onto the street, Boudreaux pulled a knife and began stabbing the five people in the opposing group. The stabbing was captured by a surveillance camera released by police on Wednesday.
Boudreaux was recognized on the video by somebody who saw it and called in a tip, Narcisse said. Two of the stabbing victims subsequently picked him out of a six-person photographic line-up as

They ought to be careful...not far to travel from Jena, LA for Jesse Jackson & Co. to shake down another place.
I really ought not say anything about the Jena 6 b/c I don't know the facts...but neither does Jackson, typically, so I guess that really doesn't matter.

why is he in jail? can we not get this guy a Jena 6 freedom march. its not like he stabbed 5 people. wait, what did you say, that is exactly what he did. oh.
