And have just as good of shot of winning C-USA as at the beginning of the season.

To what? The fact that we outplayed a better TCU team? The fact that our defense didn't allow a record setting offensive production?

Either a lot of posters went to the game, or the pony faithful isn't as discouraged with this loss as the one last week. There are hardly any posts tonight compared to the Arkansas State loss.

I'll probably feel differently tomorrow, but right now I'd like to knock your teeth out. Your name wouldn't happen to be Copeland, would it? A loss and mediocrity is just fine with you, huh, Rosie?

Um... were you expecting a win tonight? Did the team not outplay your expectations? We are down by 1 game right now. We needed to beat Arky State. But other than that what has happened this season that wasn't expected? We gave up way more yards to Dodgeball than I thought we would. But we stood up to a very good TCU team and lost the game on big plays. But for the AkSt loss, we would all be pretty happy with where this team was.

So now we need to steal an extra game somewhere. We can't lose at home and Central Florida is looking scary. We need 2 road wins. Memphis and either Houston or Tulsa should work. I have to admit that Tulsa is playing better than I expected, but as far as this team is concerned, we aren't too far off from where we expected to be before the season.

Now... if we lose to UTEP, I'm in panic mode.

A loss is a loss. I'm disappointed. But I was expecting 56-14 or something outrageous. I'm proud of the way our defense played tonight. Entirely different than the previous three games.

not rosie by a long shot, but two things: Arky State put of a decent fight at Tennessee tonight. And despite the loss, real proud of how physical smu played tonight and more than stood up to tcu all the way around. that was obvious.
