Anyone remember when we last won a non-conference game on the road? For a hint, it was not in this century.

That was in 1996. That is one of the 5 non-conference road games that we have won since 1989. We have won one on the road since that one. If I am correct, we have won only one since that game on the road.

In other encouraging news our winning percentage against former Texas SWC schools-you know the ones we are supposed to recruit against is now 13% since the DP:
Texas Tech 0-12
Baylor 0-10
UT 0-7
A&M 0-7-1
Rice 4-14
UH 2-7-1
TCU 5-13
Recruiting matters

This summary really hurts and tells a heck of a story, 11-58. But Arkansas is missing

actually Phil Bennett has a gaudy 15% winning percentage against former Texas SWCs schools at 3-17. 3-2 in 2005 and 0-15 in other years. These could be looked back upon as the glory years of SMU football.

From our lofty position, reviewing the SMU post-DP NC record and record against our old SWC rivals is enough to make us roll over in our graves, or pace above in the clouds.

I was there too. Ramon Flanigan was the QB. Think we won, 34-14. Danny Ford apologized to the Razorback nation. That is if we're talking the same year.
