We don't have to listen to tcu play Dr. Who over and over again for another year. I didn't know that it was their new fight song. Seriously, either their band was playing it or they were piping it in on the loud speakers. It got old quick.

You obviously haven't been to a TCU game - it's been 'their' song forever

I have. I just have to remind myself every time I come back how grateful I am that I don't have to listen to that cr4p. And I never remember the piped-in version from my previous trips.

If you're referring to the tune that I think you are that's actually from Gustav Holst's "The Planets" suite. It's "Mars: The Bringer of War". The same tune is used in the movie The Right Stuff during John Glenn's blast-off in Friendship 7.

No. Sorry, I just know what we used to refer to it as. It is Gary Glitter's "Rock & Roll Part 2" or "the Hey song" to most people.

Oh, that! My god...that's been so overused in so many stadiums by now.

By the way, nice pics of Comet, Superman's horse. ^

It is almost that bad here in San Antonio at the Spurs games where they still play "Are you ready for this" from jock jams. At least they finally lost the teal green and pink on the floor.

Personally, I liked it when they used the "When the House is Rockin', Don't Bother Knockin'" song. But, the Spurs do need to retire the "Are you ready for this" song.
