You guys realize that espn and cfn know where you are by your IP address, right? It isn't like a new yorker is getting the same ad.

i saw a bunch of different pony up advertisements over the past few weeks on espn and nascar.com. i told my friends who went to smu, but who are now in florida to check out the ads, but it wouldnt show up for them after refreshing a bunch

I realize this is how it works, but one thing I can't figure out is every time I access ESPN.com on my phone I get the Pony Up ad. I have a California area code and I'm accessing it in CA...so my question is how the hell do they know I'm a Pony Fan?
