what in the hell has LSU done to their uniforms. LSU/Tulane on ESPN2 a rare CUSA morning game. Never really been a fan of the circled shoulders on most teams but LSU made it work for what the 45 years I've been watching. And the mush white helmet. Yuk. They seem to be entering the High Definition age by getting rid of the color contrast between yellow and purple which I think looks pretty good in High Definition.
Next topic-which team's uniforms look even better in High Definition-I'll go with USC's Scarlet and Golden yellow.

OK apparently these are special commemorative jerseys.-too be auctioned off for Katrina relief.

I agree that the USC unis are classics as are the Michigan Unis, Maise and blue. Florida with the royal blue and orange looks pretty clear as well. On the other hand Tennessee orange still makes me nauseous as does the Oregon creepy uniforms.

Perhaps the Mustangs should do the same and use the proceeds to hire a new HC.

What kind of coach can you hire for the cost of three jerseys?

I think LSU's white helmets were done in honor of the white hat adorning their head coach, who will leave behind a national title on his way to Ann Arbor

I know we have bigger fish to fry but with a new coach and a new uni sponsor (adidas), shouldn't we try to harken back to our BEST days with the Doaker?


I know you'll say we look like Arkansas, or Oklahoma, but who cares. Look at what Iowa State did. They pretty much ripped off USC's look, but it's a great look. Go with a nostalgic look, but make it SMU.


And for goodness sake, no more of this NFL sock look. It's college football!! white crew socks, black shoes and white laces!!
