...on each occasion we PASS on 1st down. On each instance, an incompletion, stopping the clock. Two downs later, each time, we have a third and long.

We had a back that ran for 100+ yards, and an O-Line which has done a decent job all night...why in the world do we pass on 1st down?

That being said, wasn't it a beautiful day at Ford? Not a cloud in the sky. Perfect football watching weather on the shady side.

I dont know if it was the series you are talking about, but heres one thing that baffled me. Willis threw a nice completion over the middle to get a first down to about our own 40 or so. He got his bell rung on the play and he gets up noticeably woozy. We had the lead mind you. What offensive coordinator in the world calls a pass play on the next play in that situation? NOBODY. You handoff and let your qb get the cobwebs out. and we were having success running! Instead we call a sideline out and Willis sails it way over the recievers head. he obviously was hurting and just chucked the ball. That was really aggravating.

I agree, it was a beautiful afternoon on the west side of Ford.

East side sucked. Really hot and bottled water is far too expensive.
