Here's the biggest problem with Bennett: He lacks fundamental gameday coaching ability.
POOR PLAY CALLING
Why at TCU on 2nd and 3 from the 7 yard line do you not run and get that first down? (2 pass plays, a sack, and then a 4th and 15 results).
Why v. UTEP, up by 2 TDs and 7:xx min to go, do you run three straight pass plays and burn NO TIME off the clock...giving UTEP valuable TIME to come back on SMU - you could have secured the win with less time OR a first down. Seems like he only knows about the first down (which is why he threw it??).
Why v. UTEP, (in OT?) ball on the 6 yard line, 2nd and 1, do you hand off from the PISTOL formation and lose 4 yards??
