I'm so frustrated thinking about this team, so I'm moving on to something else. I mentioned this in another post, but I'll add visuals to my description here.

With the new coach and new uni sponsor (adidas), we need to get back to looking like a college team. My first inclination is to come up with some Doak Walker inspired uniform. While this uniform is simple we can make it distinctively SMU, by adding the Mustang to the helmet.


I love the flat "old-school" maize pants and flat single color jersey (NY Giants have these.) No one else has them that I know of. So I came up with three variations going from simple to more complex, simple being my favorite. And for goodness sake get rid of the NFL socks. This is college. They should wear white crew socks, black shoes and white laces! (see above)

Been there, done that just a few years ago. White helmets just look too

60's or the Doak Era (30's included, too) is great with me!!!

I'm kind of partial to the long sleeves.

i like the jerseys the way they are...

I'm fine with anything as long as we get rid of the blue helmets. I loved the white ones with the red and blue stripes down the middle and i think even a red helmet would look good. And we definatly need to bring back blue jerseys. I think thats one of the problems bennetts teams have had is that they focus too much on the uniform. Its time to go back to old school

I honeslty am not sure what i think about the pants that might be a little too old school. But i really liked all the designs of unis i think even the red helmets would look good.

I don't mean to sound like a party pooper but white helmets are a pain in the butt to take care of...with the blue helmets we have, markering in scratches with a sharpie works great but I mean, are we going to use white-out with white helmets?
