Very interesting. I would go with the ND connection given Orsini's track record. I do like Bowden though.

After seeing ND the past few weeks on tv, are we really sure we want the OC from South Bend?

Impressive. ND is down to say the least this year but you have to give him a serious look.

No assistant coaches, we need to hire someone who has experience as a head coach. No matter how impressive an assistant coach you never know how good they're going to be as a HC, see Norv Turner & Phil Bennett

All Head Coaches were assistants at one time before they got their first head coaching job. Plenty of great ones but like a lot of things you never know what you got until you get it. I get your point though. We have you down for tried and true Bowden.

No, that was a different thread. I keep asking, "What does the OC at Notre Dame do (besides recruit)?" Doesn't work with QB's, doesn't gameplan, doesn't call plays.

He selects the catering companies for the everlasting buffet that ND has to provide for Weiss.

Indeed, that would fall under the category of "offensive".

Do those catering companies have to get their foods cleared with some sort of nutritionist before Big Chuckles starts wolfing them down?
