I picture Hatfield in a General's uniform saying "Rossley, you magnificent bastard, I read your book."

Is the high bidder "rburns01" or "SMU-OC" or "BigRusty" or something like that?

I believe this would be much better to speculate on than who our next coach will be. Much more entertaining.

Gotta love the salespitch:

"You are bidding on a SMU Mustangs 125 page Run N Shoot offensive playbook of one of the most successful offenses in college football. This is an authentic playbook that will be included on CD in PDF format.

The Southern Methodist University Mustangs experienced great success in the mid-90s behind their explosive Run N Shoot Offense. This offense was orchestrated by the expansive offensive mind of head coach Tom Rossley. The Run N Shoot has become an ageless offense that has dominated the football landscape for years and shows no signs of slowing as more and more teams at all levels of competition have adopted it. Now here's your chance to learn one of the greatest offenses in football history! This is a great playbook that is a must!"

Didn't we go 1-10 in 1995? And didn't Rossley throw out the entire playbook when Ramon got hurt on the first play of the season?

Yeah, but Ramon and Justin Willis have similar strengths and weaknesses. I guess given that except for Tech we are averaging a ton of yards per game, Burns offense is doing its job mostly except in the red zone when the chips are on the line.
