Damon Hurst.

The story also says SMU is staying in NOLA to "save money" before driving to Hattiesburg. If the team hotel is the same as it was for the Tulane game last year, I doubt any hotel in Hattiesburg is more expensive. Perhaps this story was done to refute the "First Class Mustangs" thread on pf.com that ran before the Arkie State game.

Actually, Hattiesburg did have some significant Katrina damage and is far from rebuilt. Staying in NOLA makes sense to me.

What does Hurst at middle mean for Hawkins, Bonilla, and McCray? I hope that Bonilla stays in the starting lineup, since I feel he has been our most productive linebacker. Personally, I'd rather see him in place of Hawkins.

Bonilla lays the wood sometimes but the guy couldn't be slower. In coverage situations I feel like he is a real liability. Just my thoughts on the matter.

Swell Wally-I'm so glad we solved the problem-and in only 22 minutes of commercial free air-time

Have you been watching the games? Hawkins is our most productive LB after McCray. That's why they tried to move him to MLB. He understands and has the ability to play both positions. I think Bonilla has looked good at times but Hawkins is our player. Big hits doesn't equate to great play. Ask Roy Williams about that.

I think Stallion may have called this, or some other changes, after the bye week. Good call

I wouldn't go that far...No point in attacking a student/athlete...

Bonilla has made plays, including the big interception against UTEP...Big plays don't come to you, you must be in the right position and take advantage of the opportunity (I think I just quoted one of my old football coaches...He would be proud)

The original argument was Hawkins...He stays put and Bonilla will sub in...May I add, a lot better than any of us could...

Strongly disagree. They can mean great plays for the opposing team -- ask Roy Williams about that.

Don't blame the player that walks-on and works up to a starting spot, blame the coach that can't recruit anyone better, that shouldn't be too hard for you, should it?
