That's a basketball cartoon. Post it in the basketball forum.

Did they moved the start time because of the hurricane?
Or was that the excuse last time?
I see rough sees ahead for the good ship Mustang.
Lots of up the middle

I felt like that at the start of the game in the student section.

Reliable sources informed me this MrMustang65 had another meltdown in the stands at the Tulane game. Not nearly as bad this time around. It happened right after the late touchdown when SMU did not get the extra point off quick enough and gave Tulane time to challenge the touchdown. Sources said he really lost it, screaming, yelling, and throwing stuff. By the end of his rant no one else was left sitting on his row. People in other sections could hear his rants and several near-by fans scolded him to calm down.

This reliable source (me) heard him yelling about this particular incident but I did not hear anything but normal fan "screaming". What was sad was that I could hear him very well and I am a considerable distance from him. I was able to hear him because there were very few people between he and me. We could have almost carried on a normal conversation from our seats. I am near the first row and he was above the ramps.

Thanks for setting the record straight, mrydel. No...I didn't throw anything, Varsity Shop. And I was sitting with the folks from Special Delivery, all of whom remained, and who were also urging the Mustangs to 'run the play' before the challenge. And the few fans who were sitting between me and mrydel were, as usual, totally oblivious to what was happening on the field.

That kind of behavior is unacceptable for the true "no expectations" disciple. I think you've devolved.

Oh, I still hold "no expectations". However, for the price of admission, I'm entitled to behave in whatever manner I wish, as long as it does not physically harm anyone. I knew SMU would find a way to lose the game, especially when Tulane tied the game at the half and again when the game went to OT.

mustang 65, you are what a real fan should be,
if we were all as passionate as you we would have
a small, but rabid fan base, but most of our fans
act as if they are in a movie theatre, it does not matter
if OUR team is winning or not in order to show some
emotions when something happens, so thanks
for being a madman!!!

If the only thing the guy got wrong is that you didn't throw anything, then it clearly sounds like you were experiencing disappointment, which is impossible for a true holder of no expectations.

"No...I didn't throw anything"
So you are denying you violently threw one of those
compressed airhorns down your isle towards the scoreboard?
