InjuriesDMN said Justin Smart is out.
What's the word on Devin Lowery? I hope he's back in there, but I want to see more of Aldrick Robinson, too. Plagiarize!
Let no one else's work evade your eyes. Remember why the good lord made your eyes. So don't shade your eyes, just Plagiarize, plagiarize, plagiarize! (Only be sure always to call it, please .... "research.")
The reponse to Poynter's injury was inexcusable. They bring him off. And he has to stand on the bum leg while they get the table set up for him just to look at him. Where is the slug he can lean on to keep pressure off the leg? Why was that table not set up long before he came off the field? It's these little attention to detail things that make a difference as to whether a program wants to carry itself with a winning attitude or an attitude that is completely disorganized and thus bad season after bad season results.
Prior Preperation Prevents Piss Poor Performance
Like every other organization, it starts from the top. We have heard PB come on numerous times in the post game conference stating that "the coaches didn't have the team prepared for this or that, this loss falls on the coaching staff". Despite these revelations, nothing was done about it. This flows downhill. Why should the training staff be worried? Nothing will come of it.... Why should the defensive unit worry if they miss a tackle? Nothing will come of it.... It ALL starts at the TOP, and we need a new king of the mountain NOW.
I don't know for sure but word from the team was Tommy broke his ankle, Haynes tore his ACL and Hudman did something to his AC joint but that's not confirmed and I am just throwing this out since this is only what I heard.
Tommy Poynter and David Haynes WALKED off the field (albeit with some help). If the broken ankle and ACL tear are accurate, those are two seriously tough young men. Get better.
I don't know what an AC joint is, but hope Hudman's OK, too.
If broken ankle, that WTF are they doing WALKING HIM OFF THE FIELD????
Top down, ABSOLUTELY NO ATTENTION TO DETAIL. Whoever looked at Haynes when he went down had ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE OF URGENCY WHATSOEVER. Start there, and walk it down to the concessions where they ran out of credit card machine paper, and therefore could only take cash. No preparation. No attention to detail. Yeah, I waited in that line for 15 minutes too. They could have posted a little sign or something to warn us before we got up to the front, but I guess they were out of all kinds of paper.
AC jt=acromioclavicular joint. Where part of your shoulder blade and your collar bone meet. How far apart the ligament gets stretched determines the grade of the injury, which you've probably heard of before as a "separated shoulder."
Hope he recovers quickly, but more importantly, hope he recovers completely. "Moderation in all things, and especially in Absoluts [vodka]." The Benediction, Doc Breeden, circa 1992
\And the AD's in South Bend! ![]()
And whatever happened to the team taking a knee and the crowd and team giving the player a hand when he gets up? I know it's not high school but the apathy on the sidelines just shows how little the team seems to care or shows an interest in whats going on. No one on the sideline is trying to fire up the team. They seem to be accepting defeat like it's expected. I know they are hurting inside and they are giving it their all. But I'm taking about carving a winning attitude into the program and that starts at the top and translates to details also.
The top is Turner?
