We may tackle like girls, but PB has perfected the swinging gate on the extra points.

He put the blame squarely on poor tackling for the loss. He was really mad on the post-game, as he should be. He said that it's the players fault but also his fault and his defense's coaches fault for not having the defense playing the correct way....head up, wrap up, etc.
He said they will play in pads on Monday.

Its his fault for recruiting players who were physically outclassed. Players were in position all nite and couldn't make plays. Forte was too fast, too big, too strong, too quick-yeah poor tackling [deleted] poor recruiting is the problem-it couldn't be more obvious on this Nite. I don't even think the Tulane offensive line played well. This is an athlete problem-we got the wrong speed, size and quickness at most every position.

Pretty sure we won't be in pads on Monday seeing that that's our day off...but Tuesday, yup you bet we'll be out there.

Agree 100% with the first sentence. And no mention of the word model either. In the postgame interview, he said he's "tired of it." You know what, PB? F'in spare us the bs. We've been tired of it to. You've put up with it for 6 years. We've put up with it for 20+.
And for Southern Comfort, PB DID say they'd be out there Monday, a la Charlie Weiss earlier this year. Worked about as well for Weiss.

You are so full of crap about this talent BS. SMU has the "talent" to be 4-2.
Did App. St. have the "talent" to beat Michigan?

Yeah, that explains why they're 1-6. But at least you're happy they got covered in the morning news today.

Don't you think that PB is recruiting the top players that actually want to come to a stadium that has less people alive than a graveyard? You said the players were in position, just didn't execute. So was it PB or should the team actually be held accountable for some of it?

What exactly goes on at their practices-what is being taught?

I think at practice we just check our student-athletes' grades and degree progression.
But at least we don't have a bunch of thugs and dummies.

Who would know...they are all closed practices. Reminds me of when I had a young engineer working on one of my projects and every time I would come in to his work space he would do what he could to cover up what he was working on...it became obvious as the project progressed that he didn't know what he was doing. It was also obvious that hiding what he was doing didn't change the fact he didn't know what he was doing.

I'm pretty sure that'd be a violation of NCAA rules if we had practice on Mondays.
