I hope we're all not disappointed about what happened against Tulane. Doesn't bother me a bit.

As I said, this season died at Arkansas St. (BTW, do any of you Ark. St. supporters still want to tell how good of a program this is?). It was confirmed at TCU.

It's a just a matter of the timing. Once the losing season is officially clinched after we lose at Tulsa, it will be a matter of Orsini deciding if he wants Bennett to finish the season as a lame-duck coach or have one of the other coaches do it.

I feel bad for the players. But when you leadership comes from incompetence, you get 1-6 in a season when much was expected.

This was what the masses wanted. And for those who still supported Phil. Good for you. It just didn't work out. He had his chance. He knew what was expected this year and didn't deliver. He will pay for this with his job.

DMNit :!:

Now we have to fire hasBennett, and start from square 1 again just
because we lost a couple really wild enioyable to watch, except at the
end OT games.

If we had won both these games, most of you brats would predicting we'd win out from here to go to a bowl game.

If Orsini can't land a big time coach(undercover, before he fires Pfil), under his model (see Stallion), maybe like Franchione (hint, hint, tainted a little bit), this might not be the year to search for a new coach. This seems a lot like the year Copeland hired Cavan. Lots of coaches about to be fired.

If college football was rocket science, we would've lost 11, 487, 862 astronauts before we sucessfully landed on the moon, and brought them safely back :!:

Huh, what :?:

It took Ron Cheatah Meyer 5 years to get us to 8-3 so we could be disgraced by BYU in the Holiday Bowl, and he CHEATED :!:

I knew there would still be one Kool-Aid drinker in the bunch....

That's right...Keep PB.....did you see the Blvd? NOBODY was there...Did you see the stands?...NOBODY was there....Keep PB and you and the other twelve brave souls can watch the game in a fish bowl next year....

I've seen attendance like that since I was a student in 72. I remember
6000 attendance against Rice in the Cotton Bowl in the 70s. I remember a game listening on the radio when we tied NO. 1 Purdue in the Cotton Bowl befiore a partisan crowd of 15000 when I was in grade school in 64. We had 12000 I think tonight.

No Kool Aid here. I've seen our program gradually get better with Pfil.
I thought this would be a down year with our defense, and you roll dice
on close games.

Point is, unless Orsini can find someone (under cover before the firing)
who will NO DOUBT BE BETTER than hasBennett, we should keep him.

12,000? my you are the optimist. Try 8,500 and about 4,000 in the 4th Quarter

It is my understanding that Orsini only allows torn tickets to count. That was a BIG reason that our basketball attendance numbers dropped so much last year. However, you never know, someone might have torn 3-4,000 tickets and dumped them into the counter for this game.

There were not 14,000 people there. I don't care what method is used count empty seats.

How dare we disagree with the omniscient one. Please forgive us plebeians.

Actually, the game appeared to be a sellout to me. I was shocked that they can coordinate EVERYONE to wear blue in the top sections and red in the lower sections... thats pony pride if Ive ever seen it!!

I thought the crowd was OK. Certainly more than I expected. I think 14-15 is about accurate.
