Some good, some bad

First the good--The Red Sox are in the World Series again.
Now the bad--this is worst defense in the history of SMU football. I'm not going to look up the stats but let's lay it out:
Most recieving yards by a player in a game ever given up by an SMU defense
Most total yards in a game ever given up by an SMU defense
Most rushing yards by a player in a game ever given up by and SMU defense
This is not bad. This is the worst in SMU history.
PB is toast. I'm not gong to roast him. The writing is on the wall. Good luck to him wherever he lands. I don't think he's a bad guy. It just didn't work out for him here.
I feel sorry for the players but mostly I feel sorry for the fans who have endured such unbelievably bad football over the last 20 years. No one can say these are fair-weather fans. I tip my cap to those who have been there game in and game out for lo these many years.
I sincerely believe Orsini is going to do everything possible to hire someone to come in here who can get it done. We SMU fans live in hope. Good luck to the next guy.
