Tulsa Game
Posted: Wed Oct 24, 2007 8:17 amIt was not too long ago that SMU appeared to be the team on the move compared with Tulsa. Tulsa was a team we could circle on the schedule for a win. It is amazing how each program has gone in different directions. Tulsa changed its model to compete, paid and hired great coaches, and the school made a commitment to the football program. They have had winning seasons and bowl games since the changes. We all know all too well about SMU's struggles.
Questions for someone with more insight than good old Billy Joe:
1) how many JUCO / Transfer players does Tulsa have on its roster?
2) how many D/FW / Texas kids does Texas have on its roster?
I do know Tulsa has done a great job of recruiting in Bennett's backyard the last several seasons.
