Where's ol' Blood & Guts Tonight?

Otherwise known as Gen. Patton? Perhaps he's trying to remove himself from the treads of the Tulsa tank that rolled over the Mustangs today.

I respectfully disagree. You can add color and not act like a knucklehead -- sorry -- on the air. Swann does that.

That's why "Pony Up w/ Phil" hired him, so we could show the public our big time commitment to college athletics. But I don't get the impression he particularly cares about SMU, or is particularly invested in SMU's welfare or anything we're talking about. I would almost prefer Phillips over Scham, even if he's an NTSU grad.
To me, people like Swann/Phillips are what college football is about. You want those rough edges. Scham is what pro football is about.

I still run into Brad every so often and he always has good things to say about SMU and I do believe that he follows the teams. Maybe not as closely as he once did, but he's still there.
