When the move is made either this week or after the Houston game, you can only hope that Steve Orsini has the means an resources to find the right replacement and the faculty will be shown the door when it comes to its influence on how athletics should be run in this university.

I was really hopeful that this club could get something done, and I really thought that Phil had the program moving in the right direction.
I was surprised he survived last year. The Tech game I was willing to go the other way on that because we never have matched up with them.
The UNT game was alarmingly bad and thoughts of this staff really not getting it became apparent.
And then everything in Jonesboro pretty much told me this season was over because the dye had been cast. TCU confirmed it with all of the sideline chaos we showed.
I think PhriendofPhailure's perspective was shared by several. I didn't share it until late September.
I feel bad for our players. But let's face it, I would submit to that since the UTEP game, they have been playing for each other and not this coaching staff.
