its not going to be Davie-you know even if it were, Davie has accomplished more than the rest of the guys who have got this job before(except for Gregg). Hell I would have loved to have Davie over any one of the guys we've had in the past. I'm reasonably sure that Davie was in town because the College Station airport doesn't have connecting flights. He may be meeting with Orsini to discuss Coaching candidate. I would hope that Orsini seeks this kind of advice. Its too early for interviews.

Thanks for the practical response. I think we are going to need more reasonable comments than the wild ideas and some of the possible candidates often mentioned on the board. Rumors will be hard to resist, but lets be more fact based, if possible.
I imagine Steve Orsini has given and will give this a lot of thought. This is the biggest thing he has to do. I look forward to this decision, as well as other needed changes, if we are going to be revelant and competitive again.
P.S. Thanks, Phil for everthing. Don't beat yourself up too bad. Probably wasn't solvable with the hand you and we were dealt.

then why wouldn't Davie have driven the ninety minutes (tops) to IAH vs three hours up here?
And Eagle can get you from College Station to D/FW, while Continental Express makes the 20 min. flight to IAH.

There's no one on this board who can torture the English language better than you.
And by the way, we do like firing people when they go 18-48 in nearly 6 seasons. Nice guy. Not a good coach.
Davey/Davie, whatever! Read my post, except for the few where I hoped PB would not be fired for future sake, and you will see everything I have told you idiots has transpired. I did spell transpired correctly didn't I. Even Orsini stated it the best, we are in this for the long haul. How much longer of a haul can some of you deadbeats stand.
