After Orsini made the decision to keep Bennett after last year, I made a post commending Orsini's decision. I felt like the program was improving, and that we needed to stay with Bennett in order to continue the steady improvement. A few of you agreed, and a few disagreed.

One poster (I forget who it was) disagreed vehemently and said he was saving the post so that he could bring it up after we were all disappointed in the next season. Well, here's the opportunity: Bring it up.

I'll stand by that post. I think Orsini made the right decision by staying with Bennett last year, and I think he made the right decision when he decided to move on this year.

Say what you want about Orsini's boulevard policies; the Pony Up marketing campaign; etc. It's hard to deny that when it has come to coaching decisions, he's been spot-on.

just so we don't have to hear for 20 more years BOTH Rossley and Bennett fans claim "we were just about to turn this thing around but our bonehead AD fired him"-I'm glad he waited. I think there are more quality experienced Coach that are or will be availiable this year too. We might have missed out on Graham again-he probably just wasn't destined to coach the Mustangs.

If they wait till the season end, however, I hope they at least give Graham a courtesy call. He would be a coup in my opinion.

When I read the title of this thread, I thought it was a call for the annual preseason prediction thread. I'd like to see that one bumped up as well, just for fun.
