i am assuming none of bennett's staff will be retained?
normally in a transition does every single asst. coach always get canned?
where does this leave vic viloria?
hopefully vic will be back.
didn't orsini hire vic and not coach phil?
vic is a tie to the smu bloodline that should not be cut.

Vic was hired by Steve Orsini, not Coach Bennett.

Keep him! Almost any staff in the NCAA would be lucky to have him on their staff.

I believe Vic is a part of the athletic department general staff, not specifically the football staff, so he could stay.

A new coach will be able to bring in his own person for this position. Mr. Viloria is probably on a 1-year contract and will not be renewed or he will be bought-out or he could be interviewed and retained by the new head coach. The current head coach wanted Mr. Viloria and Orsini hired him. Orsini will hire whoever the NEW head coach wants for that position. That's the way it works, see? You gotta have YOUR people in these positions - Mr. Viloria will have no problem finding work elsewhere.
