That's possibly the worst-written article about the death penalty I've ever read. It's full of way too many metaphors and exaggerations.

Yes. Laura Miller was the muck-raking columnist for the Observer before she ran for Mayor.

You learn something new every day. For 20 years I have always thought it was Staney who went to Channel 8 first. This is the first I ever heard of the disgruntled secretary. Why didn't somebody tell me?

I didn't mention not knowing because I thought I must be the only one. I never heard this either.
