I have an idea--Turn our football program into an ESPN reality show and hire Jimmy Johnson as the coach. The show will be a weekly "hard Knocks" to see if one of the greatest coaches can turn the worst program in the country into a TOP 10 program. Players would want to come to be on TV-etc..

I actually think that's a great idea. No, really.

I would love to get Jimmy Johnson, but don't see him coaching again.

Shula?

Switzer?

Campo?

I think that would be a fantastic idea too. It would sure do wonders for our stadium attendance/program interest and probably convince some borderline athletes to come to SMU because of the media exposure they'd enjoy. Every game would truly become a Dallas event.

You might want to send an email to MTV or something...(I have no idea how TV shows are pitched)

How about 'Vard Rocks and start each week hanging with the 1,500 on the 'Vard prior to filming the locker room, game, players during the week, coach's office, etc.
