Nebraska Gives Up 49 in First Half
opps missed the extra point. Still 1 minute or so to go. Looks like Nebraska fires a Coach this week. Let's have a little guess how many jobs open up this week. A&M anyone?

Stallion, did we recruit KUs QB? 5-9 kid from Austin?
No Texas school did. Rivals shows that only KU and Duke offered him. TCU was on his list, but did not offer. What do you bet they are second guessing themselves now? Reesing was the Texas 4A player of the year when he came out. Way too small for us, however! He was rated 3 stars, 5.5, and was listed as 6'0", but the announcers stated that he was only 5'9". His height does not appear to be an impediment to his ability to QB his offense! Impressive accuracy and poise. Definitely wants to prove something to the people that doubted his abilities.

are you talking about the Nebraska program that has been to as many bowl games as any team in the Country over the last 50 years? Just making sure you want to compare the Nebraska program with a program that hasn't gone to a bowl in 18 years since the DP. You need to think through your arguments before you post. We have been fully informed of how Nebraska does things during the last few Osborne years

Sometimes having 4-5 star athletes can't make up for crap coaching. Look at the two recruitment classes...the highest rated commitment this year for KU is 3-stars. Reesling himself was only a 3-star athlete. Some of it is who you have (according to recruiting services) but a lot of it is who they are mentally/what you can make of them. One idiom that I've found true in all levels and in multiple sports is: "the only thing you can't teach is height and speed". The argument could be made that even the latter is slowly being taken on that list.
