Probably to let others who will be looking for new coaches know he's wanting to get back in.

Good to see the Quality of Coaches, including Barnett's interest, in SMU's job. In fact, I here everyone on Orsini's list has expressed some interest..... My choices #1. Terry Bowden, #2. Gary Barnett, #3.( one of the top 10 Coaches in Div 1) [deleted] Tomey, [deleted] Tomey ? Yea, that's right.... think about his record from Hawaii winner to Arizona winner, strong record there, to assistant head coach at Texas for national championship in 2005 to San Jose State 8-4 bowl winner last year. San Jose was 1-10 the year before he got there. #4 Glen Mason.
