Has been playing out of position all season.......he has really hurt us. He should be a guard.

who is going to play at that position if he doesn't. Not that I don't agree that he isn't mismatched with quicker DEs

Oh I know, and it will be worse next year, unless we can get some juco help.

The best recruits last year were on the o-line so they'll get a shot-

Question to ex-OT:
How difficult is it to block a rushing DE when you're QB won't stay in the pocket for more than 2-count?

And they were/all guards from what I've seen. We'd have to be insane not to be worried about the Tackle positions next year.

Let's not act like the 2 starting tackles this year were anything to marvel at-wait and see what develops next year-

I agree. Kenard Burley has been all over places he needn't be and he really is costing us on occasion...I just wanted to say I agree, that's all.

We've had bigger issues than Burley (although you're right, he struggled last night). Offensive line has been less than perfect, of course, but the group has been decent overall.
Considering Burley, B.Poynter, Peveto, Holmes and DeLay are gone after this year ... what would the starting five OL look like if spring practice started today?
LT Chase Smith
LG Sean Lobo
C Mitch Enright
RG Tommy Poynter
RT Ross Nigh?

There should be no doubt that Josh LeRibeus will be out there with the starters. We may even see JT Brooks.

How can you say that without having seen either of them play? I keep hearing Kelly Turner is a stud-in-waiting, too, and I've heard some good things about Derek Lilly, but can you really say "no doubt" without seeing anything? Seems premature.
