First of all, let me say that you guys scared me a little bit out there tonight. You fought hard, and if not for a few turnovers the outcome might have been different. Hopefully with a new coach, your team will get out of this losing slump and get back to winning seasons. Also, I've been reading the topics on the forum tonight, especially the ones with the trash-talk between you guys and coog99. Let me be the first to say that he definitely doesn't represent the way all of us at UH act towards our opponents. But here you guys are talking about how classless he is (which is true), however you are being just as bad by insulting our school's academics, location, and women. None of these things even have to do with the two teams that played the game tonight. I guess what I am trying to say is just stop being hypocrites and talk FOOTBALL, good game tonight.

Just keep living in the past buddy...I don't blame you. But hopefully after you get rid of your current coach and get better recruits, you will be back in the rose bowl again in the future.

I will be pulling for the Coogs against Tulsa next week. I like your coach alot. Houston took a gamble on a high school coach and it has paid off.
I still wish disease and other afflictions on Jack Pardee though. Is the SOB still kicking?

I don't normally talk about anything bad about a school, but there were somethings going on during that game that was unsportsmanship from all around. It is a game and emtions are going to run high. However being disrestectful is something different. And there was definatly some disrespect coming from both sides.
And nothing against your academics, but your stadium and band remind me of the way high school is set up. Most bands remind me of high school because the mustang band is different from everyone I've come across in this conference. Most of the other bands seem to be trying to copy each other.
My thoughts anyway.

I will say that I met a few classy Houston fans, but a majority of them were pretty classless. That was my first time to a game at Robertson Stadium, and it would have been much more enjoyable if not for the incessant classlessness of the majority of the Cougar faithful. Sure, SMU has some fans that are classless as well...every program does. But I daresay that Houston's fan base is one of the most classless in the nation...I haven't seen that amount of classlessness since attending the LSU-Alabama game last season...and before that, it had been a long time.

Wait a minute. I thought we had all decided that U of H was blue-collar/working class...which is it? Classless or lower class, people?
