Well, since Hixson to Levias is now Ford to Tolbert...will he be changing his name to include JW?

Statistics are overrated. With the new spread offenses in college football a lot of passing records are being broken. It is about wins and losses. SMU also used to play in a much better conference against better competition. Who has the record for most fumbles / turnovers in a season?

JWill does I bet? Let's just release him of his scholarship and move on to better things? I am quite sure several other programs as well as JWill would like that. He wants to win! Did anyone else besides me see the 351 yards passing and 3 touchdowns while he ran for his life, as well as playing his heart out for us. If this is [deleted] poor football, I can't wait to see, what some of you call, a real coach will do with JWill. He is the only thing attracting a worthy coach to this INSTITUTION,besides this board.

While he has complied a nice set of statistics, I lot of qbs could put up those numbers in a spread offense. How many int. to td passes does he have? How many fumbles does he have? I am not saying he is a bad player. In fact, he is an excellent player. But before you appoint him the next Joe Montana and savior be realistic about the total picture. The Houston qbs put up great numbers last night. C-USA is not throwing out a lost of top 10 defenses. There have been a lot of turnovers inside the 20s.
