I don't know if this has been discussed yet, but has J-Will made a decision on whether or not he'll transfer like he said he would if PB were to be fired?

It has been posted that he has said he's not going anywhere.
It would be unwise for him to leave, since he'd lose a year with a transfer, and he has a chance to put some SMU passing records completely out of reach.

I believe he said that at the end of last season. I do not believe you will see any players transfer because Bennett got fired. Bennett's head coaching record is horrendous....what do you expect? If anything the players should have a renewed energy and excitment if Orsini brings in the type of coach he has been talking about.

He's not going anywhere. He was all fired up last year, he's surely realized what he said was illogical.

Willis isn't going anywhere. Unless he gets into it with the new Coaches over having to tuck the ball away when running or about to be hit. Believe me, the new Coach will not put up with that and all the fumbles because of it.....So if Willis is willing to take instruction, the ball carring problem gets corrected and Willis could become a potential All-American here before he leaves.

He has been an All American as a freshman. He is the most coachable player there is. The issue is running period, it needs to stop. He is being used as a running back and coached as a QB, it doesn't wash. QB's hold the ball in one hand, can't throw it with two? Once he gets to the open field different story. What he needs to do is run for 3 or 4 yards and get down. He is our leading rusher on a team with 10 running backs, and we a talking about fumbling. Talk [deleted] to the running backs that should be fumbling.

Better hope they don't hire Fran. If JW runs that damn read option 20+ times a game, he may add career leader in fumbles to his resume.

And rushing touchdowns, as well as total touchdowns. Take the bad with the good RGV, every player has both. We took the Pony Express, we got death penalty. Be careful what you pray for?

believe me, I've taken the good with the bad (mostly bad) since 1980. Big fan of the Mavs back when they sucked too. Also when they dribbled out the clock vs. the Lakers in the late 80s. Don't get me wrong, I think JW is great, I just don't want to see him get killed running Fran's offense. And rushing touchdowns, as well as total touchdowns. He is a suvivor. Hunt or be hunted is what he was taught! He has to be the most durable player we have besides Sledge, both west texas boys. We got running backs banged up who don't even run the ball. Other players that stay hurt. Justin will welcome any coach. Let's just play! Frans offense worked ok with Reggie McNeil, (in the pros) and he couldn't throw the ball half as good as JWill. You think that is why Fran ran that O.
