Can anyone please list all the Div-1A head coaches that jumped to that position from QB or WR coach?

* Excluding former HC's or ones with OC or DC experience prior to becoming the WR or QB coach (that is, I am looking for a 'rising' coach that only had WR or QB coach experience that went directly to a head coaching job)

Dude. First, give somebody more than five minutes.

Second, can I use NFL position coach to Div IA coach?

Anyway, last year alone (DIA position coach to DIA Head Coach):

Central Michigan-Butch Jones, WR Coach, West Virginia

Florida Int'l-Mario Cristobol, OL Coach, Miami

Clearly a token Greek hire.

Wasn't Leach a position coach?

No. Leach was the OC at OU.

Oh, I forgot one. I don't think Stan Brock was a coordinator at Army.

If you go pro's to DIA, you add Minnesota's Tim Brewster and La Tech's Jack Bicknell to the mix.

Leach was OC at OU, Steve Kragthorpe was a QB coach and never an OC when Tulsa hired him.

Actually, I did some checking. He's a token Cuban.

A native of Michigan and a former offensive coordinator at CMU, Jones returns to Mount Pleasant after spending the 2005 and 2006 seasons as an assistant coach at West Virginia University

Florida Int'l-Mario Cristobol, OL Coach, Miami

University of Miami and Rutgers University
Prior to being name FIU head coach Cristobal spent the two stints at Miami, between 1998-2000 and 2004-2006, as a graduate assistant, tight ends coach and offensive line coach. During 2001-2003, Cristobal was a tight ends and offensive line coach at Rutgers University under Greg Schiano.

I was saving Kragthorpe because he was an NFL position coach.

Wrong:

He then spent more than a decade as an assistant coach at several colleges, and served as the offensive coordinator at three of them (Northern Arizona, North Texas, and Texas A&M). He then spent two years in the NFL as the quarterback coach for the Buffalo Bills before taking the top job at Tulsa.
