Tiger for the Ponies?

I have been told by a reliable source that SMU has contacted Missouri offensive coordinator Dave Christensen. No doubt, he's a hot commodity with the way the Tiger attack is playing. Christensen interviewed for the Central Michigan job last year.

You view this as a problem?

K State's defense was great and PB was a young and upcoming coordinator. We don't need to go down that road again.

Potentially. If we were trying to get a coach with prvious head coaching experience then the notion that we have had to move on to coordinators likely means that our other candidates have turned us down. Not good news.

On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?

Or that we have turned them down. So many openings, so little time. I didn't see Barnett's name mentioned anywhere. They may just want to talk to everyone.

I wonder if we failed to raise as much cash as everyone assumed we would.

There is far too much knee-jerk reaction going on in this thread.

Enjoy some Herb Alpert in the post below!!

I just smile at the thought of Graham and Malzahn going to Arkansas. We will have to get as 2nd newspaper just to handle the editorial pages.

I have heard that he has raised 9 million, for the head coach and the coaching staff. This is for a 5 year period. I don't know what his goal is. I have heard that Turner has told him he can bring in anybody that he wants as long as it does not make the budget go up. In other words get the money first.
If we hire this clown over Barnett there is no hope for the program
............. Missouri may be good mainly because of an exceptional Quarterback, Chase Daniel. To much risk with this OC.
