SMU leads 14-6 late in the 1st quarter. After a high Willis pass was INT and returned for a TD, SMU responded with TD passes to Sledge on consecutive possessions. First TD was set up by a 61 yard run by Martin.

running DeMyron a litle more north/south today...as it should be. This is shaping up as a "1st team to 50 pts wins" type game

so Leonard (academics) and Elizee (violation of team rules) are suspended for the rest of the season? And now they are saying Berry got hurt? Guess we will see Parham and the RS FR Thomas and Dollens playing on the DL. We could see an all FR DL with Smart, Yenga, Thomas and Dollens before this one is over

Willis just threw his 2nd INT returned for another TD. Rice up 27-14. Meanwhile, DeMyron has 8 carries for 122 yds. Can we try giving the big man some more carries? Make Rice show they can stop the run??

Now it is 27-14 Rice. After another TD catch by Dillard, Rice just returned another Willis INT for a TD. SMU has the ball at its 21 with 4:42 left in the second quarter.

DMart...110 yards at the end of the first. I think he's seen the ball 3 times since.

After an INT by McCann (who fumbled on what should have been an easy TD return), Willis hits Sanders for a TD pass. 35-27 SMU. Fourth TD pass of the day for Willis.

42-27 Ponies end of the 3rd. Don't have a very good feeling about this game. Hopefully we won't figure out a new, inventive way to give this game away.
