With the mounting turnover problems JW is having does the red shirt frosh Turner have any chance next year? He put up some gaudy stats in his high school career-

what's the saying (when you are losing): "the most popular guy on the team is the backup QB"
new coach usually means everyone has a shot at playing time...as long as they are capable of earning it...but clearly JW is our #1 guy going into spring ball. He's the only guy with any experience

Also, couldnt hurt to have them both on the field...we did it at least once this year. I still think we should have gone to more of a running offense long ago to try to controll the clock and keep the defense off of the field....

Look at Nebraskas Joe Ganz...put up a career high 505 pass yards and school record 7 TDs...sure hes playing because the Keller is out for the year but maybe if UN turned to Ganz earlier, then maybe their season would be better...

At least get some other QBs some snaps in the next two games.

They won't play Turner so he can red shirt but it is time for Willis to rest some and for Rhodes to get some experience.

I know I am risking a riot with my first post, but does anyone else think that Willis has had a bad attitude lately and should probably sit just because of that??? I think that this team lacks discipline and benching Willis would be a great way to send a message to the team. I guess this move would make more sense if Bennett was staying….

I wouldnt mind seeing that...he acts like he is still in High School and thinks he has to do everything and whenever it doenst work out in his favor, it's some one elses fault.

What's there to lose by sitting him? Either for rest or to fix his attitude. If Bennett is such a great guy, I think he tries to fix the attitude...

You guys are nuts! Justin will not have these problems next year. He will have a coach who teaches him to tuck and protect the football. As far as the two quarterback system goes, they saying is that if you have 2 quarterbacks you really have 0 quarterbacks.
By the way Justin had a little something to do with the points we did score.
Justin is clearly the man for the job.

Yeah...and he also had a lot to do with two of the touchdowns Rice scored.

Thats the dumbest reasoning ive ever heard 94....hes the F'n QB, hes suppose do something every game with the points we score...JUST DONT LOSE F'N GAMES every week.
He gave US points and he gave RICE points...flat out lost the game for us in my opinion
