McKinney out with hamstring? I think they said he was done for the year LeRibeus doesn't need to see the field. Save the RS and let him start playing when it matters

That's what worries me. All the freshman lineman are being redshirted, but ALL were there on the sidelines except our top OL recruit from last year - Josh. Hope there isn't a problem there. Also all the other players that were injured were on the sidelines, but I didn't see Andrew. Just curious.

how do you have academic issues during a semester? Are football rules more restrictive? Seriously, I played a sport my freshman year and my GPA didnt reach my age divided by 10, but I wasnt suspended during the semester...
Something else has to be going on here...

Leonard had to drop a class and went below 12 hours. Automatically ineligible...Don't know about the others...

sad. they make easy classes for players and give them first dibs before everyone else. other than doing poorly in a class, it must be attendance. if you miss X amount of classes, the professor has the right to remove you. he probably just didnt go to class

There is no problem at all with LeRibeus or his grades. He was in his brother's wedding tonight. Coach Bennett knew 6 months ago that he would not be at this game. All is well.

Happy to hear it. I think he will be a great anchor for the OLine in the coming years and didn't want him going the way of Allison. I know that the next head coach will be VERY happy to have him!

I hope so and thank you for the kind words. Josh is my son and I'm very proud of him. Most people don't know how dedicated he really is to SMU. He's here for the long haul.

Your son will be a beast. Hang tight, Orsini will bring in a great coach.
