So your upset because I ruined Stallion excuse #1, "we got beat by players we can't recruit or get in to the University?" There is nothing in that thread that is illogical. We should have won at least one close game all season. Each and every week we lose these games, I do not understand how YOU can still say our staff is doing a good job. Clock management is not that diffucult.

In the last drive, I agree that we should have thrown after the penalty to make it 1st and 20, and when JW runs for 35...he should have turned up field after 30 or so yards and slid. What coach would not agree with that? So if you agree, would you not coach your kids through out the year to be cognizent of the clock?

The play call on the 3rd down is plain and simply poor coaching. You knew it, I knew it, every SMU fan knew our defense would give up the yardage....why didnt the coaching staff know that? Why didnt they run more clock and HELP out the defense?

DT Berry (back up playing in place of Elizee -injured and missed much of the game)Backed up by two 3rd string guys with zero experience)
DE Smart (backup playing due to Johnson injury or Handy move-should be redshirt-physically overmatched all year-emergency player)

LB Bonilla playing out of position-moved due Hurst injury-walkon-marginal D-1A player)

I simply argued that clock management in the last possession was the problem. Yes, our defense has been undermanned and considering that has been incredible. That being said, the coaching staff OWED it to the DEFENSE to win this one. They did not, they BLEW another one.
